Summer Journal Project
In 2024, we launched the Summer Journal Project to give students a healthy outlet for their thoughts and feelings during the long break from school. At the request of school counselors, journals were provided to both middle and elementary school children—particularly those facing challenges such as bullying, mental health struggles, or social anxiety, as well as students who simply benefit from having a safe place to express themselves.
Journaling supports emotional well-being, resilience, and creativity. It offers young people a private way to process emotions, reflect, and build confidence during a formative and often difficult stage of life.
